Results of Long Form Population Census in Kotabaru Regency 2020

INDONESIA is a country with enormous potential. In terms of population, Indonesia is the fourth largest country in the world after China, India and the United States. With the right strategy, residents can become the strength of the nation for Advanced Indonesia.
In order to realize the ideals of an advanced Indonesia, in 2022, exactly #one decade of Indonesia's demographic bonus, BPS is endeavoring to complete the mandate to implement the Long Form SP2020 with various challenges amid the COVID-19 pandemic. With the permission of God Almighty accompanied by the hard work of all parties, field data collection for the Long Form SP2020 has been completed.
The SP2020 Long Form carries a big mission as a Benchmark for Indonesia's population indicators, a Portrait of Indonesia's Demographics after going through the 2nd wave of the COVID-19 Pandemic, evaluating development achievements in the population sector in the SDGs and RPJMN, as well as being the basis for determining development policies
Indonesia towards Golden Indonesia 2045 .
Even though the SP2020 Long Form was implemented in the midst of a pandemic, there were several innovations implemented, one of which was the use of the CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing) mode, which was implemented for the first time in the history of the population census in Indonesia. The journey of implementation and results of the Long Form SP2020 is briefly presented in the Population Indicators Outcome of the Long Form SP2020 booklet. This booklet presents a comprehensive picture of the state of Indonesia's population based on the results of the Long Form SP2020.
The basic data coverage of the SP2020 Long Form results are indicators of fertility, mortality, mobility, employment, disability, education, and housing. The provision of demographic parameters and population characteristics is expected to produce indicators to monitor and evaluate
achieving the SDGs and RPJMN targets in the population sector.
